Terms of Service — Artist Online Home

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your purchase of the Artist Online Home package from Lewis Bacon (trading as High Click Rate). By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About the Service

Artist Online Home is a one-to-one Shopify website service designed specifically for artists and creatives. It provides a calm, focused starting point for selling and sharing work online.

The service is provided by:

  • High Click Rate Limited, trading as Lewis Bacon

2. What Is Included

The Artist Online Home package (currently priced at £595) includes:

  • A 90-minute one-to-one clarity session
  • A calm, artist-friendly Shopify store setup
  • Up to four core pages (e.g. Home, About, Shop, Contact)
  • Help with the key wording across your site
  • Your first products set up and listed
  • Essential trust elements (policies, contact details, payment setup)
  • One round of refinements after initial delivery
  • A handover session and next steps guidance

3. What Is Not Included

Unless separately agreed in writing, the following are not part of this package:

  • Ongoing website management or maintenance
  • Deep copywriting or extended written content
  • More than ten product listings
  • Custom app integrations or advanced automations
  • Pinterest setup, social media management, or advertising
  • SEO campaigns or paid marketing
  • Photography or image editing
  • Additional pages beyond the four included

Any work outside the scope above will be discussed and agreed separately before it begins.

4. How the Service Works

Once your order is placed and payment is received:

  • You will book your clarity session online as part of the checkout process, choosing a time that works for you
  • You will receive a Google Meet link for your session; if Google Meet is not suitable, we will agree an alternative way to connect
  • Work on your website begins immediately after the clarity session
  • A delivery timeframe will be agreed with you after the clarity session, based on the scope of your project, our current workload, and your availability. As a guide, most projects are completed within 10–15 working days, but this is not a guarantee
  • One round of refinements is included after initial delivery

5. Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of purchase. All prices include any applicable VAT where relevant. Payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments.

We reserve the right to adjust our pricing at any time. Any price change will not affect orders already placed.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

We offer a full refund if you cancel at any point before or during your clarity session.

Once the clarity session has taken place and work has begun, we are unable to offer a refund. This reflects the bespoke, one-to-one nature of the service and the time and care already committed to your project.

7. Your Responsibilities

To enable us to complete your project effectively, you agree to:

  • Attend the clarity session at the agreed time, or give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule
  • Provide any materials needed (images, logo, written content) in a timely manner
  • Respond to questions and feedback requests within a reasonable timeframe
  • Ensure you own or have the rights to use any content you provide

Delays caused by late provision of materials or feedback may affect the agreed timeline. We will always communicate clearly if this arises.

8. Intellectual Property

On full payment and completion of the project, you own the content and website we create for you. This includes any written copy we produce as part of the service.

We retain the right to reference your project in our portfolio and promotional materials, unless you ask us not to in writing.

Any third-party materials used (such as Shopify themes, licensed fonts, or stock images) remain subject to their own licence terms.

9. Shopify Subscription

Your Artist Online Home website will run on Shopify. Shopify's monthly subscription fees are separate from our service and are your responsibility. We will guide you through setting up your Shopify plan as part of the handover. By using Shopify, you also agree to Shopify's own Terms of Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

We deliver our services with care and professionalism. However, to the extent permitted by law, Lewis Bacon / High Click Rate shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website we create
  • Loss of income, sales, or business opportunity
  • Issues arising from third-party platforms (including Shopify) or their service interruptions

Our total liability in connection with any project shall not exceed the amount paid for that project.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. The contracting party is High Click Rate Limited, trading as Lewis Bacon.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Orders already placed will not be affected by subsequent changes.
